HOT News  …. The Packaging Workshop event  is now open for registration …  

“The Packaging Workshop” – Thursday 28 September at the Airbus Facility in Portsmouth.

“The event for learning about micro-electronic packaging”

The Workshop themes are Die attach, Wire-bonding and there will be an Introduction to Advanced Packaging.  Tutorial sessions will be given by:

·         Tribus-D

·         MICROSEMI

·         NORDSON MARCH

·         STATS CHIPPAC

  1. Si8000 / Si9000 import impedance (preview) -   Compare measured impedance with modelled predictions    See how to import CITS data into both Si8000m and   Si9000e in the upcoming release.  View as a PDF or on the Polar YouTube channel.

  2. Language packs for Speedstack 17:05 
  If you have upgraded to version 17:05 then German, Japanese, Simplified and 
  Traditional Chinese language packs are now available.

  3. Polar Inc. office move is almost complete, but there may be a short time without phones, 
  so either call Polar Inc. on cell or by email.   The Polar website will be updated when the phone 
  service is fully reconnected.

  4. Loss tangent application note – this note shows how important it is to use enough significant figures for loss tangent to ensure accurate modelling.
