Schweizer Electronic AG: Executive Board complete again

Schweizer Electronic announces that its Executive Board is complete again with immediate effect. Thus, Dr. Maren Schweizer, Chief Executive Officer of Schweizer Electronic AG, has reassumed her responsibility for the business units Operations, Sales & Marketing, Global Supply Chain and Systems.

Nicolas Schweizer, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, has been back to the office since November 7, responsible for the business units Technology, Human Resources, Legal and Communication. Marc Bunz, Chief Financial Officer at SCHWEIZER, who in the meantime has managed all areas of responsibility on an interim basis, is now able again to dedicate his time entirely to the areas Finance & Controlling, Purchasing, IT and Investor Relations.

Smart Systems Integration 2017: Key Topics and highlights are published

Application-orientated and close to the industry – the conference program of Smart Systems Integration 2017 has been designed.

Top speakers from industry and science present their latest research results and developments in the field of smart systems during the two-day conference of Smart Systems Integration in Cork, Ireland, from 8 – 9 March 2017.

The lectures, selected by an expert committee, deal with innovations, applications and trends on the following topics:

•          System integration and packaging

•          Design of smart integrated systems

•          Smart systems applications

•          Smart medtech systems

•          Challenges of IoT

Free access to the special sessions by EPoSS and to the exhibition

A particular highlight of the conference are the two special sessions by EPoSS on the first conference day, which can be attended also by visitors free of charge.

Also the participation of the poster sessions and the visit of the accompanying exhibition is free of charge.

Visitors have the chance to discuss with the speakers on-site the latest research results and to obtain information about recent developments and products of the exhibiting companies.

Shaping the Future: Job-Board as a career tool

Another highlight at the event is the job-board. This offer allows visitors and participants to learn about current vacancies of the exhibiting and cooperating companies and to contact potential employers directly on site.

Time for networking and innovation

The event will be completed by a pre-conference field-trip one day before the conference. The guided tour to the Tyndall National Institute in Cork gives participants an insight into the daily work of one of the leading European research centers in the area of integrated information and communication technologies.

The traditional conference dinner takes place in the Ballymaloe House.  This event offers the opportunity for intensive talks and networking in a relaxed atmosphere.

Within the conference dinner the Best Paper and Best Poster Award of Smart Systems Integration 2016 will be awarded.

The conference is organized in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Electronic Nano Systems ENAS, Chemnitz, Germany, and EPoSS – The European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration, Berlin, Germany. The conference will be held next year for the 11th time and focuses on innovative smart systems, their production techniques as well as international research results of smart technologies and materials.
