APAG Elektronik AG, Dübendorf Switzerland

In April 2016 APAG Elektronik AG in Dübendorf Switzerland, a leading Electronics manufacturer for control devices and LED based illumination units for automotive and industrial customers and EMS manufacturer closed its first year of operation after having taken over Cosyst Control Systems GmbH in Nürnberg, Germany. Cosyst Control Systems specializes in the development of individual embedded control systems and also supports its customers in the development of electronic systems for the automotive market and it’s suppliers. APAG, which covers the whole product lifecycle from development, industrialization and manufacturing to spare parts provision has merged the development departments of both companies and named the former owner Armin Farrenkopf Chief Development officer for the Group.

Johannes Popp, Group CEO Corporate Strategy and Business Development said: “The first year of working together with Armin Farrenkopf and his team proofed our decision to be right. This strategic move has further enhanced our position in the automotive market. The primary values of our corporate group are high quality, long-term partnerships, strong corporate governance and social responsibility.”

APAG, headquartered in Dübendorf, Switzerland with its manufacturing site in Pardubice, Czech Republic and a subsidiary in Bengalore, India (Software Development) is servicing a wide range of customers with the focus on the automotive market and EMS.
